As the meal gracefully transitions to the pre-toast-desolventizing layer, secondary steam dances through, engaging in a refined process of removing solvent. Descending into the toast-desolventizing layer, the meal encounters steam directly spraying from strategically placed bottom holes. This steam distillation ensures the effective removal of remaining solvents. The process also includes steam condensation, skillfully working to deactivate enzyme activity.
