Comprehensive Palm Fruit Pressing Process Description
Palm oil, nestled within the palm pulp, boasts a high moisture content and abundant lipase. Our refined pressing method, a well-established technology, ensures optimal extraction. Initially, fresh fruit bunches (FFBs) undergo sterilization and threshing pretreatment. Post-weighing, the FFBs are transported via conveyor to the vertical sterilizer where they are repeatedly heated and sterilized to inhibit lipase hydrolysis. Following sterilization, the FFBs are moved by a mechanical bunch feeder to the thresher, separating the palm fruit from the bunches. Empty bunches are then transported outside the factory for periodic use as fertilizer. The sterilized and threshed palm fruit is directed to a digester, followed by a special screw press to extract crude palm oil (CPO) from the pulp. This pressed oil, containing significant water and impurities, is clarified through a sand trap tank and a vibrating screen before being transferred to the clarification station. The wet fiber cake produced by the screw press, after nut separation, is sent to the boiler house for combustion.
The wet fiber cake comprises wet fiber and wet nuts, containing approximately 6-7% oil and fat, and some water. Before nut production, fiber separation is necessary. The cake breaker conveyor cracks the wet fiber and wet nuts, and the pneumatic fiber depericarper system primarily separates the fiber. Remaining fiber and large impurities are further separated in a polishing drum. The nuts are then conveyed to a hopper via the pneumatic nut transport system, cracked in a ripple mill, and separated by a cracked mixture separating system. The residual mixture of kernel and shell enters a specialized clay bath for further separation, resulting in pure kernel (with shell content <6%), which is dried to 7% moisture before storage in the kernel silo. Collected kernels are transported to the palm kernel oil mill once sufficient quantity is gathered. The separated shell is stored temporarily as boiler fuel.
Post-screening and sand trap tank treatment, the palm oil is directed to a crude oil tank for heating, then pumped to a continuous clarification tank. Here, purified oil is separated and sent to a pure oil tank, while sludge oil is directed to a sludge tank. The sludge oil undergoes centrifugation to extract additional oil, which reenters the continuous clarification tank. The purified oil from the pure oil tank is processed in an oil purifier and vacuum dryer, before being transferred to a collection tank.
Henan Huatai offers a range of oil refining projects from 10 to 25 kilograms (test equipment) to 2 to 1,000 tons/day, making us your ideal partner for various oil quality requirements. At Henan Huatai, we provide diverse options, including batch chemical refining, semi-continuous physical refining, and continuous physical refining. We deliver comprehensive services encompassing design (process, civil, electrical), manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and technical staff training. Our advanced automatic control system guarantees smooth, automated operation of the entire production line. Each segment's heat-saving measures ensure minimal processing costs, making Henan Huatai a leader in efficiency and reliability.
The heart of our operation lies in the main refining plant, which meticulously processes every batch with stages of degumming, dehydration, bleaching, deacidification, deodorization, dewaxing, and degreasing. Through these sophisticated steps, crude oil obtained from squeezing and extraction is refined to meet national quality standards for edible oils, ensuring that the end product is of the highest caliber.
.
In our state-of-the-art refining workshop, we employ a variety of processes tailored to different needs: fully continuous refining equipment, semi-continuous refining equipment, and batch refining equipment.
Distinctive Characteristics of Huatai Oil Refining Machinery:
1. Continuous alkali refining: This technique shortens the contact time between oil and lye, significantly reducing fat saponification and minimizing power consumption, thereby boosting overall efficiency.
2. Advanced bleaching: Utilizing steam stirring and decolorization pre-mixed technologies, our process enhances decolorization efficiency while minimizing clay usage. The negative pressure environment prevents hot oil from contacting oxygen, maintaining oil quality, suppressing acid value rise, and reducing excessive oxidation.
3. Innovative deacidification and deodorization: Our continuous physical refining methods are perfectly suited for oils with high acid values and low gum content. Proven in actual production, these methods boast strong acid removal capabilities, exceptional heat decolorization, high refining rates, and superior oil quality.
4. Energy-efficient process design: Our multiple heat exchange systems optimize heat utilization, drastically reducing steam consumption. This production process is highly adjustable, flexible, and automates sanitation to a high degree.
Our refining technology is versatile and applicable to a wide range of oils, including soybean oil, sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, cottonseed oil, peanut oil, palm oil, copra oil, rice bran oil, and various animal oils that require refining.
Refining Plant Capacity: 10-1000T/D, designed to accommodate both small and large-scale operations.
