Pretreatment&Expansion Workshop
Craft flow:
Crude rice bran → cleaning → softening → expanding → drying → to extraction workshop

Oil Refining Workshop
Craft flow:
crude rice bran oil → degumming&dephosphorization → deacidification → drying → decolorization → deodorization → defatting → dewaxing → finished oil.
Refining methods:
oil refining is according to the different usage and requirements, utilizing the physical methods and chemical processes to get rid of the harmful impurities and needless substance in the crude oil, getting standard oil.
Advantages of refining craft:
1. After refining the impurity of oil must be less than 0.2% ; 2.Recycling system save power and money; 3.Lower oil waste.
Craft features:
1.Continuous alkali refining shortens contact time between oil and lye,reduces grease saponification,lowers refining consumption,and improves efficiency.
2.Decolorization adopts technology of combining premixing and steam mixing bleaching,which improves bleaching efficiency,saves consumption of bleaching clay,and it's simple and convenient to operate;and negative pressure state avoids oxygen in the air from contacting with hot oil,thereby ensuring oil product quality,inhibiting acid value to rise again,and lowering peroxide value.
3.Deodorization adopts new type continuous deodorization equipment which is applicable for deacidification and deodorization of plant oil with high acid value and low-resin content,the actual production proves its most obvious advantages are strong deacidification ability,excellent hot bleaching effect,high refining rate,good oil quality and so on.
4.The process has multiple heat exchange,which makes full use of the heat energy system,effectively reduces steam consumption,and also has the advantages of adjustable production process,flexible operation,high automatic degree,environment sanitation and so on.

4.3.2 Process introduction:
4.3.2.1 Magnetic separation
Adopt cylinder magnetic selector to remove metal impurities to protect later machines.
4.3.2.2 Rice bran and fine broken rice separation
The section is mainly used to remove broken rice and crude bran shell as well as other impurities, and it can reduce equipment failure,ensure normal operation,lower residual oil yield and solvent consumption.
4.3.2.3 Rice bran softening and conditioning
Before entering the extruder,rice bran is heated in advance, temperature of rice bran before expansion is increased,and expansion quality of rice bran is improved.Softening pot is mainly used to soften rice bran,improve its plasticity so as to improve extraction efficiency.
4.3.2.4 Rice bran expanding section
The section is a process before oil extraction, expanded rice bran can improve extraction efficiency, lower solvent and steam consumption,and increase oil yield and quality of crude oil.Main machine is rice bran extruder.
4.3.2.5 Rice bran cooling and drying
Using counter-flow cooler to dry and cool expanded rice bran,improve its quality and extraction effect.
Process Description
5.3.2.1 Extraction Process
Expanded rice bran is conveyed to extractor through scraper conveyor,materials run a circle from inlet to outlet,spray it with miscella with diminishing concentration,before entering draining section, spray it with fresh solvent again,drained wet meal discharges with switch device from material grid of extractor and enters wet met scraper conveyor. Concentrated miscella enters two-stage cyclone hydraulic separator through concentrated miscella pump to remove powder impurities and then enters miscella tank.
★ Rotocel extractor adopts chain transmission, unique rotor balance design,with advantages of low rotate speed, small power,stable operation,no noise, low maintenance cost.
★ Feeding system adjusts rotate speeds of air lock and main machine according to feeding capacity, make material storage tank keep certain material level all the time,beneficial for forming micro negative pressure in extractor,reduce solvent leakage.
★ Advanced miscella circulation theory design is beneficial for reducing input of fresh solvent, reducing residual oil in meal, improving miscella concentration, achieve energy-saving purpose through reducing evaporation capacity.
★ The design of high material level rotate grid of extractor is beneficial for forming immersion extraction and reduce meal powder content in miscella, beneficial for improving crude oil quality and reduce scaling of evaporation system.
Desolventizing-toasting Process
Wet meal with solvent out from extractor is conveyed to preliminary desolventizing layer of DTC desolventizer-toaster with wet meal scraper conveyor via air lock,the bottom uses indirect steam to heat, remove part of solvent; wet meal after preliminary desolventizing enters toasting layer,which sets automatic control to keep certain material layer, steam from the bottom to remove all solvent, at the same time, part of steam congeals in meal,the moisture of meal will increase partly. Desolventized meal material level is controlled by each layer, drying layer keeps certain material level, to dehydration and drying process.Finally control discharging materials with automatic material door, then use meal scraper conveyor to convey meal into meal warehouse.
Mixed vapor of solvent out from the top of desolventizer-toaster and water vapor, goes through solvent catcher ,then enters condenser for cooling recovery.
★ Unique breathable pan design,beneficial for good contact between materials and steam,with good desolventizing effect,small direct steam consumption,low outlet temperature of twice steam.
★ Preliminary desolventizing layer and permeable layer adopt horn mouth discharging materials,with good sealing, uniform discharging materials, stable material layer, adopt automatic material door discharging controlled by this layer.
★ Meal quality is stable,urease activity reaches national standard,color is light yellow and uniform,no clustering phenomenon,moisture is adjustable,temperature is a little higher than room temperature;
★ Reducers of main machines adopt famous brand product, performance is stable,failure rate is low.
5.3.2.3 Evaporation Process
Miscella enters the first long tube evaporator tube pass from miscella tank, evaporated solvent enters evaporation condenser through separation chamber,outlet pipelines of separation chamber set liquid level control device to keep liquid seal. Miscella enters disc of tower from the top of steam-stripping tower,fall layer by layer,at the same time inject direct steam from the bottom,remove residual solvent.Top outlet connects evaporation condenser, use high vacuum injection pump to keep steam-stripping tower work under negative pressure,equipped with liquid level controller on the bottom of steam-stripping tower to ensure liquid level and stable flow of finished oil,crude oil is drawn from tower bottom with steam-stripping drawn pump to cool and then enters crude oil tank.
★ Evaporation temperature is low, residual solvent in crude oil is low, color is light,no phospholipids precipitation,evaporator and steam-stripping tower scaling not easy;
★ The advantages of using long tube condenser is high solvent recovery rate,reducing condenser area and saving investment cost.
★ Using boiling tank makes solvent in drained waste water reach the minimum value.
5.3.2.4 Solvent condensation and water separation process
Condensate from extraction condenser,desolventizing condenser, evaporation condenser and steam stripping condenser gathers and recycle through condensate into water separation tank.Free gas in solvent warehouse gathers and enters final condenser, uncoagulate gas out from final condenser enters new type energy-saving water bath exhaust gas recovery device. Solvent in water separator flows into solvent warehouse for recycling, water is drained into boiling tank, steam from the bottom of boiling tank to evaporate residual solvent then drain to water seal tank.

6.2.2 Rice bran oil refining process introduction:
6.2.2.1. Continuous phospholipids removal,degumming,water washing,drying section
Crude oil enters crude oil filter firstly to remove existing big impurities from oil, and then to heater, heat it to certain temperature (60ºC), then into mixer,add food grade phosphoric acid 85%,addition is 0.3% of oil weight;After high-speed intensive mixing, react 30-40mins in acid refining tank to transform phospholipids to hydratable phospholipids thoroughly, at the same time, complex plenty of iron ions dissolving in oil in the high FFA production process,then increase temperature upto 80ºC, add hot water with the same temperature for hydration, water addition is 10% of oil weight, react 20-30mins adequately in hydration reactor, use the first self-cleaning centrifuge to separate oil sediment from phospholipids after out from reactor. Heavy phase separated from centrifuge, flows into oil sediment storage tank, then sent out from workshop through oil sediment pump; increase the temperature of light phase clean oil upto 85ºC, hot water addition is 10-12% of oil weight, after separation with self-cleaning centrifuge enters vacuum dryer, dried oil goes to bleaching section, recover emulsified oil from heavy phase water through oil trapping tank,waste water discharges out from workshop.
6.2.2.2 Winterization dewaxing section
Exchange heat between dry oil and dewaxing oil and then reduce the temperature to about 50ºC and enters pre-cooling tank to store,then pump into crystallization tank in sequence.Frequency control for crystallization tank,and automatic control according to freezing cooling curve, make the crystallization granularity good and solid, with little oil, adopt diaphragm filter to separate wax, wax is once extruding shaping.
6.2.2.3.Continuous decolorization section
At the same time of reducing oil color, absorb residual colloids in oil, avoid oil color reversion phenomenon caused by high temperature physical deacidification.
After heating,dewaxing oil mixes with bleaching clay ,then pumped into decolorization tower for bleaching. Decolorising agent addition depends on oil quality,bleaching temperature is 115ºC,vacuum degree at 0.085MPa, bleaching clay is elevated into bleaching clay case, continuously measure and add it into oil through automatic control pneumatic valve in the production process. Decolorization time is 20-30min, pump it into leaf vibration filters, two filters use alternately to realize continuous production process.In filtration process,dirty oil is pumped into decolorization tower for bleaching and filter again,clean oil is pumped to dewaxing section after filtration by two sets of safety filters.
6.2.2.4 Continuous deacidification and deodorization section
Deacidificaiton: According to the feature of high acid value of rice bran oil,we design three-section packing deacidification tower and 6-layer combined deodorization tower,adopt combination method of flash evaporation and delay deacidification, make crude oil with high acid value can reduce below 3 to reach edible oil standard.
Deodorization:
Heat oil to about 120-140ºC for gassing into deaerator, after heat exchanging between feeding oil and discharging oil, continue to heat oil to 255-260ºC then enters deodorization tower. Combined deacidification and deodorization tower adopts stack mounting of deacidification packing tower and multi-layer board type deodorization tower.About process separation method, deacidification tower connects condenser, condenser connects fatty acid catcher, board type deodorization tower connects fatty acid catcher directly, guarantee deodorization vacuum degree. Deodorization process has higher requirement for vacuum degree,residual pressure not higher than 133Pa, use new type vapour two-stage steam jet pump to generate vacuum,keep vacuum degree lower than 100Pa,and acid value of finished oil is about 0.2.
6.2.2.5 Exchange heat to make oil temperature reduce to about 40ºC and enters pre-cooling tank to store,then pump into crystallization tank in sequence.Frequency control for crystallization tank,and automatic control according to freezing cooling curve. In cooling process, cool it through cool medium circulation,and stir at low speed to make oil reduce temperature uniformly,and make solid fat precipitate from oil uniformly,crystallization tanks operate alternately to realize continuous production.Crystallized oil slurry is pumped into thermal discharging filters for defatting, discharge fat automatically without disassembly.At the beginning, filtered dirty oil is pumped back to dirty oil tank to filter again,then filtered clean oil is sent to finished oil tank.
